Jayalath Jayawardene spoke to the Military Officials and we were cleared later a few programs and set ashore our journey towards North. In a few minutes along passing the No Man Zone, we reached the LTTE Check Point. I spoke to an LTTE member who questioned me almost our mission. I annotated our mission and introduced the German team and others there. I told we had already accused the Political pinion of the LTTE approximately our mission.
They were extremely concerned about our mission as we were by and by visit the Mulaitivu district which is an LTTE fort. The German Television troop had come with satellite equipment for direct transportation of calamity instantly from the smudge. We thought whether we would be facing whichever difficulties because of the security issues. But we had been cleared and were on our way to Kilinochchi.
While we were voyaging we found either sides of the expressway were a mixture of dense forests and the paddy lands built a lot of excitement within me. Peacocks were everywhere, busily foraging in the paddy lands.
After 2 hours of our junket we reached Murukandy, a stopover for passengers where a small Hindu temple namely found. It has chance a institution for passengers to stop there and worship the God, which was enshrined in that small temple primarily if they were Hindus. Others also accustomed to stop there as a recreation and buy a kind of foodstuff obtainable there. We also stopped for a meantime but not quite long, as we were yet late along to our timetable to approach Kilinochchi.
We had to arrange accommodation for more than twenty-five humans. I was highly worried as there were fifteen German citizens, and they would anticipate reasonable accommodation for the night. When we reached Kilinochchi it was early night.
We went to encounter LTTE's media spokesman who was coordinating our mission in the LTTE-controlled areas. He was startled at the digit of people on our mission. He asked his subordinates to look nigh for places to adjust us. Visiting NGO members and the media people had already occupied the available places. We were stalled for a couple of hours.
The German T.V. crew and the German Praktikum (Internship) students were in their vans for hours and it was melancholy to look their situation. Some of the youngsters who came with us from a regional T.V. channel began to scold me, as I was the coordinator in those areas. But I had to silence them saying once and for all it's a relief mission, and we were arranged to bear the difficulties.
Some how or other the LTTE's Political Wing found accommodation and I had to take some of the German students to the lodgings,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which had been prepared for them. My liability had been lessened down. The German Television crew had too been assigned a area.
Some of the students were querying if their rooms were equipped with mosquito nets. I had to detect rooms with mosquito nets as them. But an room with nets, I had apt keep for a Sinhalese couple as agreed. I had taken some extra concern that they should not feel that they had been distinguished in a Tamil area. I had told the students I had to reserve that room for the couple.
All the students got rooms with mosquito nets in that complex besides two students. Then I worked to the LTTE's Political Wing office to retard what was occurring there.
AGSEP's Director Dietmar Doering said he would be residing where the petticoat students and some of the AGSEP staff were residing for their safety and went with them.
The juvenile Sinhalese couple got a room by the LTTE's Political Wing office. The incident might be as startling as an Israelit couple taking night shelter by the office of the Palestinian rebels.
I returned to one of the lodgings, where the students were staying and got into the room, which had a mosquito web,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], which became available, as the couple had found room at the Political Wing. I was a little anxious staying in my room because of my German friends. Would they have any anxieties ab
