| Kevin Garnett Jersey says Rajon Rondo has been playing hurt
Boston Celtics PG Rajon Rondo has been struggling lately, and PF Kevin Garnett Jersey offered an explanation after Wednesday night’s home win over Indiana. Rondo did not score against the Pacers and took just two shots from the floor. He is 2-for-18 shooting from the field over the past three games for a total of four points. But Rondo is “playing hurt,” Kevin Garnett Jersey said, per theBoston Herald. “You know, (he’s) hurt. He’s giving us everything he has, and he’s grinding.” Another source confirmed to the Herald that Rondo has been dealing with a right ankle problem from even before he left the floor in New Jersey on Monday night to get the ankle re-taped after rolling it. Rondo did not speak with the media after last night’s game, and Kevin Garnett Jersey would not elaborate on the injury. Coach Doc Rivers said he thought Rondo, despite being held scoreless, “played terrific” against Indiana. “I thought he played with great energy,” Rivers said. Rondo, who leads the NBA in assists, had consecutive season lows of three and five assists against Philadelphia (March 11) and Milwaukee (March 13), to which Rivers acknowledged, “He wasn’t playing well. He wasn’t playing with the speed that we needed him to play with.” |
