| Did all this twice, same results. So I clicked help. oracle actually called me. Pretty cool... so far.
1. I would expect a company like Oracle to be able to create a simple registration process that actually worked. Seriously, a company that claims they can do all the technical stuff they do for businesses, yet can't make a simple registration form? I have no faith they can do more technical tasks if this simple task is beyond them. SEO Discussion Blog I realize they are likely very busy. The chance of oracle taking on Google or Microsoft is science-fiction if the way they serve files up for open office is any indication. I clicked the button to add more templates for presentations. It took me to a page to create an oracle account. No problem, filled it all out. It took me back to the login page. I logged in. registration error, no registration data found. Oracle and Open Office Login Problems I do appreciate that open office is free, however, I'll pay for a program that works instead because from what I saw, open office is pretty much free because of the quality of the program. You get what you pay for in other words. 2. Since I was being called by tech support, I would have expected they could actually give me tech support. The phone call was nice. We could have talked football, baseball or even politics and the guy that called me would have likely known more about those topics than anything that had to do with giving me tech support. However, he had no clue about this and said he was going to transfer me to someone else that could help. The transfer took me to a voicemail. I decided to try open office. Installed it, no problems. It's free. I like free. So far so good. A second try sometimes got me to the page I wanted. |
